Hi, my name is Missy. As of October I'm estimated to be a year old.   I'm a very special girl.   I came to Twin Cities Pet Rescue fearful, battered, and bruised from living outside in the cold with my siblings. All my siblings have been adopted, and now I'm looking for a very special home.   I prefer to be seen and not touched.   I can live with people, and I've been known to sneak onto the bed at night to get a snuggle - but once I know you've seen me, I'll run.   You see, I'm still learning to trust people.   I need a home that is willing to put in time with me to help me learn to trust.  Or to just be ok with the fact that I may never by a people-cat, but only a cat-cat..    I generally keep my distance but will come out and be in the same room as people.   I love love love playing and being around other cats.   I would love a home with a pal!   If you already have a snuggly cat that needs a friend - I'm your gal!    I get along with other cats and would do best in a home with another cat or cats as I get lonely on my own and another cat will help me learn to trust.

I'm the white and black pretty girl in the pictures.

I am spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/Felv, and am microchipped.

MEET ME/ADOPT ME: If you’d like to arrange a meeting or begin the adoption process, please fill out an adoption application by visiting www.twincitiespetrescue.org/adopt/adopt-a-cat/. A volunteer from Twin Cities Pet Rescue will contact you once your application is reviewed.

FOSTER HOMES NEEDED!!! Twin Cities Pet Rescue is a volunteer-run, foster home-based organization. We can only rescue as many animals as available foster homes. Please consider saving the life of an animal in need and become a volunteer foster home today. To become a foster, fill out a dog or cat foster application on the Twin Cities Pet Rescue website: www.twincitiespetrescue.org. There is little to no cost to foster an animal. Twin Cities Pet Rescue provides its foster families with food, supplies, and veterinary care for its animals. All you need to do is supply the love!

PLEASE NOTE: Twin Cities Pet Rescue does not adopt to homes further than 60 miles from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro Area.

About Twin Cities Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.

Our Adoption Process...

All adopters complete an adoption application. If approved, we arrange a meet and greet. Cats and small animals can be adopted and go home at the time of the meet and greet after the adoption agreement is complete and adoption fee collected (which is variable based on animal type, etc). For dogs, we complete home visits and then finalize the adoption.
