Venus's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Venus's Story...
Venus is a very sweet dog who wandered up to a house as a stray. She loves to be around people and very playful with people but will not jump up on anyone. She is very well behaved and knows basic commands.. She is great with cats but not the best with other dogs so she will need to be the only dog in the house. You can walk her on a leash around other dogs and she will do fine if there is space between them. She is very obedient and eager to please. She loves belly rubs and walks around the yard. She would make an awesome companion as she is very loyal and loving. This girl has stolen the heart of her foster mom and I know she will steal yours as well. If interested in adopting Venus please contact Carrie Bowman 731-267-5535. The adoption fee is $325.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Venus, a Glastonbury German Shepherd Dog/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Husky for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Husky dog from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Husky breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
