Hello!    I am Elf and I’m very excited to say hello today.    I’m a female kitty with dark black-brown fur with wispy tips.    I have yellow eyes and am just around 1 year old with a petite frame.    Before I came here, I was outside and on my own – not a great situation for a young cat like myself!    I haven’t had a real home before, but I’m hoping that will change for good once I get a chance to meet people at the Adoption Center.

I’ve seen some of my new buddies here go home with families already and I can hardly wait until my own people find me!    Are you here looking for a cat to take home and love?    Let me tell you about my awesome self, because I might be exactly who you are looking for.

I’m a cat who likes to stay off the floor.    You’ll be most likely to find me on a shelf where I can get a good view of the room.    That way I know everything that’s happening and can keep an eye on things.    My current favorite place to hang out is my Box.    Two-legged friends and larger felines might call it a lid or a tray, but for me, it is my dearest Box.    There I can sit or curl up as I daydream of the home me and my Box might go to one day.

I’m looking for a place with loving humans who will enjoy hanging out and playing with me.    I love wand toys – the toy to bat at, the string to chew, and the stick to capture!    I like to make sure the wand knows who is in charge so occasionally, I just sit on it and watch it struggle to get away.   Spoiler alert: it doesn’t.    I’m generally known to be easy going around here and a polite roommate to the other cats.    I think I’d do even better with a human family so I hope you’ll give me a chance to join yours!    If you stop by the Adoption Center, come check me out.    I’m available to adopt for $120 – just ask the people here to meet Elf!

About Feline Rescue, Inc.

Our Adoption Process...

By adopting a Feline Rescue cat you will be supporting a caring, no-kill shelter and making room for one more homeless cat. We are always looking for good, safe, loving homes for our many cats and kittens. We want to be sure placements are a success for both parties, so before we send our feline friends home with anyone, we ask you to fill out a basic questionnaire. Since we work with cats everyday we will be able to suggest a perfect match to your needs. If a sponsorship fits your schedule better, you may support a cat of your choice and we will send you pictures and updates. All of our cats are feline leukemia/FIV tested, fecal tested, neutered/spayed, vaccinated and all of our kittens are vet checked, fecal checked and given their first set of shots. All receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. We charge an adoption fee to offset these costs. Adoption Hours: We are open seven days a week for adoptions, but our hours do vary because we are staffed entirely by volunteers. Call (651) 642-5900 for specific times and more information.
