Meet Mamas!!

This beautiful mature lady was left at the shelter as a euthanasia request by owners who could no longer care for her. Thanks to Dr. H. and the staff at VCAS her life was spared. Enter Surfcat!! Thanks to senior foster Leslie Mamas was pulled out of the shelter and is now living in a home environment where she is getting tons of love and affection!

Shes playing, jumping on and off of the bed and chowing on a regular basis. Her purr will grab your ears and her snuggling will steal your heart.

Mamas is the purr-fect 14 year old senior calico girl who just wants to spend quiet time with her human. She is healthy and happy and looking for her special someone to retire with.

Mamas is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and ready to cuddle!

If you are interested in Mamas please fill out our ADOPTION APPLICATION and return it to info@surfcatcafe.org. We'll set up a brief homecheck and then schedule your meet 'n greet so you can fall in love!!

About Surfcat Cafe & Adoptions

About Our Rescue Group...

Surfcat Café & Adoptions in Ventura, California, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit enterprise that will provide sanctuary for and connect adoptable shelter cats with people and potential new homes. To this end Surfcat Café & Adoptions will become, to the greater Ventura County community, a gathering place offering coffee, baked goods, and gift items. The business focus of Surfcat Café & Adoptions will be to draw people in to enjoy time with adoptable cats while relaxing in a comfortable and inviting setting. Surfcat Café & Adoptions will be working in cooperation with Ventura County Animal Services to help keep Ventura County a “no kill” community. Surfcat Café & Adoptions will be more than a cat café. Surfcat will also be dedicated to educating the community about cat care, and responsible animal stewardship. There will be story hours for children, facilities for hosting small gatherings, and our vision even includes Cat Mat Yoga, Movie Night, and an Open Mic Night for singers, songwriters, and poets!

Come Meet Our Pets...

You can meet our Surfcats by contacting us via email for a one-on-one meet 'n greet anytime. We do adoption events at Pet Food Express Oxnard on the first 3 Saturdays of each month and Ventura Pet Barn the last weekend of every month. Please check out our event calendar on our website for additional adoption events in the future.

Our Adoption Process...

We ask for a donation fee of 125.00 per cat. All cats are behavior screened and we make the best human/cat match possible. We ask that Surfcats be kept indoors only as they are not suited for unsupervised outdoor living. Potential adopters will fill out an adoption application and agree to a home check before they are considered as an adoptor.
