Bo's Story...
Name: Bo
Breed: Black Lab Cross
Age: Adult
Gender: Male

Bo is a young Black Lab mix who has been looking for love in all the wrong places. He is a southern boy, found himself in a pound there and is hitching a ride to Minnesota to come see what "Minnesota nice" is all about and if it will finally give him his forever home! Bo loves walks and playtime but is equally content to relax in the house and chew a bone once he's tired out. He is excellent with kids, great with other dogs, and seems fine with cats as well (he was curious about them but not aggressive). He is working on his housetraining but has been an outside dog before so expect some accidents at first but he is smart and willing to learn so he's picking it up fast. He crates for the workday well. He knows how to sit and is working on other basic commands. Bo would be an excellent addition to almost any household. Bo is available to adopt after November 12th.

Requirements: No special requirements

You can email with questions and for a preadopt application. This dog has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated as age appropriate, tested for heartworm disease if age appropriate, and dewormed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bo, a Minneapolis Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
