Meet Nash. He is a male Min Pin/Chi mix who is 6 yrs old. Check out his long legs! It looks like he is walking on doggy stilts. LOL Nash is a very sweet and loving dog. He is extremely affectionate – sometimes to a fault. Foster Mom, Laura, has been working with him on stopping kissing on command. He loves toys and also loves to burrow. Can’t find Nash? Check out that lump in the comforter on your bed! Nash is house trained and crate trained. The only accidents he has had is when he is in his crate and his foster mom works too late. That’s her fault – not his! He gets along with Laura’s resident dogs, but gets a little snarky from time to time when it comes to sharing – nothing that a firm verbal correction won’t remedy. He would be fine with other dogs, but also would be fine as an only dog. When Laura binge watches a TV series guess who is her snuggle buddy – Nash! He barks at the neighbor dogs, but isn’t that what he’s supposed to do? At adoptions, he acts like he can’t live without his foster mom, but that adoration would quickly transfer to you if you decided that you wanted to share your life with this sweetie pie. He has been neutered, microchipped, and is current on his vaccinations and preventatives. When he came into foster care, he was scratching incessantly and had some hair loss. All that has cleared up and he is a happy, healthy boy. Nash and his foster mom, Laura, attend adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart at 115th & Metcalf in Overland Park KS from 11 am to 3 pm.
