Angel Annie's Story...
"Angel Annie" is an adorable young adult female Whipppet (Miniature Greyhound?) mix who arrived at the HSOV on October 28, 2016 after she was picked up in the Marietta Ohio area. This little sweetheart has a white-and-tan short smooth coat, long legs, a long tail, and a beautiful face with delicate features, a liver-colored nose, and short semi-erect ears. "Angel Annie" has the sweetest, most lovable personality :) She melted the hearts of everyone she met while she had her glamour photos taken. She wanted loving attention more than anything else in the world. "Angel Annie" walks well on a leash and appears to love everyone. She is painfully thin and weighs perhaps 25 lbs. This little angel is now available for adoption since she was not reclaimed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angel Annie, a Marietta Whippet/Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Whippet/Italian Greyhound for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Whippet/Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Whippet/Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Whippet/Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
