We found Buddy at the Santa Rosa County Animal Shelter (Milton, FL) in October 2016. He is a Rottweiler/GSD mix. Buddy , along with his brother, were both brought into the shelter by their owner who could no longer care for the dogs. She stated that one of the dogs, we are unsure which one, killed one of her cats.
Buddy is approximately 20 mos old and is a sweet and loveable dog! He is good with other dogs as well as kids. He loves to play! He also loves to give snuggles and kisses! The shelter, as well as his foster mom, have cat tested him and he seems to show no interest at all in cats. He does love to chase rabbits and armadillos though! He walks well on a leash but has some more work to do in that area. He did not have any manners, other than being housebroken, when we got him but within a week he has learned sit, down and stay! He's a very smart boy!
Buddy is a bit shy so he will need some TLC. He has been neutered and is UTD on all shots. He's a bit underweight so we are working on putting some weight on him. He would make a lovely addition to any home looking for a friendly furry guy that just wants to snuggle!
