Nova was originally found as a stray and taken to a city shelter. He was adopted but then a few months later the guy's work schedule changed and he felt he was unable to properly care for Nova. Nova then went to a home with a woman that allowed him to be indoor/outdoor along with her other cats. A neighbor found that he was not being tended to so she is currently fostering him while we search for the perfect FOREVER home.
Needless to say, this cat has been bounced around too many times and he deserves better.
He's fabulous. He's a big boy that loves to patrol the garden, defending his home against rodents, bugs and the occasional lizard. He does seem to enjoy the freedom of having a outdoor area with the comfort of sleeping inside with his foster at night. We usually prefer that our cats be strictly indoors but if there is a secure patio or outdoor area we would be open to allowing him to go to a home where he could be indoor/outdoor.
