Rhett is a male Yorkshire Terrier/Silky Terrier mix only 1 year old. He has a shiny bright red/orange coat dusted with silver and his coat is non-shedding. Rhett is a good sized, sturdy boy weighing 16 pounds full grown. He is young and fun loving, enjoying romps in the park or merry play inside with the kids. Rhett is gentle and has a warm, kind soul. He loves to be with the family and can withstand lots of petting, snuggling and attention. He has no problem being the center of attention, in fact he basks in it. Rhett welcomes company and is outgoing and social with everyone he meets. He is athletic and quick and would probably be a star at the dog park or dog beach. He can race around with the best of them, but he always knows where his people are and will come when called. He would most likely do well in dog obedience if that was of interest. Rhett has nice manners in public, greets other dogs and people easily, and likes to be adored both at home and out and about. He is good with other dogs, amiable and easygoing. Rhett will thrive in a home that includes him as a valued family member where he can be part of daily activities and enjoy lots of attention. He was meant to be a pampered prince. Rhett was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. He has been vet checked and is very healthy. Rhett is a beautiful dog and will make an outstanding all around pet. He is ready for his new forever loving home today!
Rhett’s adoption donation is $450 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
