Additional info: Bruce is a very friendly, happy boy who loves people. His foster mom even took him trick or treating and he loved it! Seriously, he's the easiest, most low maintenance dog in the world. He really relished all the people coming up and petting him. He adjusts well and quickly to new environments. Bruce has great puppy energy and is always playing, chewing and playful nipping. There is another dog in his foster home and Bruce would play and all run with him all day long if we didn't stop him. Otherwise he's a pretty mellow cuddler. He is very smart, well mannered, attentive and walks pretty well on the leash. Right now he doesn't know any basic commands but we know he will catch on quickly. He is pretty much housetrained. If you're looking for a sweetie with a puppy streak to him then then Bruce is your man.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bruce, a Encino Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Encino, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
