The application is the first step in the adoption process, so if you are interested in adopting please fill out the online adoption application first by visiting our website at www.dachshundpaws.org
Lefty is a 7 year old, 14 pound Wirehair mix. We are not exactly sure his breed, but adorable sums him up. Lefty may be 7 years old, but he acts like a puppy.
Lefty is a sweet boy. Gets along great with dogs, cats and kids. He enjoys hanging with the big dogs! He likes to play chase, tug-o-war and loves to play with his toys. He will take all his toys out of the toy box and pick one to play with. He usually takes a toy to bed with him, under his blanket. He's a silly guy!
Lefty loves to go for rides in the car or go for walks. In the car he will just stare out the window enjoying the view. Lefty is an all around good boy looking for his forever home.
We do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found.
Adoption Process: Once an approved application is on file, we will then set up a home visit. At that time we will bring the dog to the home in which you will all be sharing. We ask the entire family to be there that day. If we all agree on the placement, then the dog will stay with you that day.
