Brando's Story...
Hi I'm Brando and I’m the biggest and best looking I look like my dad. I’m litter box trained and I use a scratching post, I like to run and play and at night I sleep with you or someplace high up. I like chasing ice cubes, playing in water and toy mice. I like other cats and I tolerate dogs. I was born 8-1-2016, mom was a Siamese, who wanted nothing to do with her kittens, we almost did not make but we were rescued by Newborn Rescue and were hand raised bottle babies and have grown into wonderful kittens.
This kitten received excellent medical care and is in very good health, ready to go to a new home. The adult cats in our rescue help with kitten training, the dogs they walk on. They have good house manners and great litter box habits; they use a scratching post and scratch-pads, are good about getting their nails trimmed. To help maintain a healthy lifestyle they eat Grain Free Kibble and gets Fancy Feast canned food, they love can food. They had their vaccinations series, preventative treatments and test to insure you get a healthy kitten including a blood test for the deadly Felv/FIV/HWT, and they have been neutered. At this young age we ask no homes with young children under 8 years old. The adoption fee is $100, just email for an adoption application to adopt this handsome kitten.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brando, a Kansas City American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Kansas City, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Kansas City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kansas City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kansas City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kansas City paves the way for another one to be saved.
