Emmie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Emmie's Story...
Emmie is an eight week old pit/pointer puppy that we rescued after she was dumped next to a trash can in a very bad neighborhood. This poor pup was so hungry and frightened, but we are pleased to say that after getting some good food and a bath, she is feeling much better. We are also pleased to say that nine pound Emmie was checked by a vet and she is healthy. She has been dewormed and has received her first round of vaccines.
We are looking for a home with experienced large breed dog owners. We want her in a home with another playful dog and prefer an active family or owner. We also want her in a home where someone is not gone for eight hours and there is supervision for her.
This is a sweet and lucky puppy who deserves a chance to have a great home and life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emmie, a Santa Monica Pit Bull Terrier/Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Pointer for sale in Santa Monica, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Pointer puppy from a breeder in Santa Monica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Monica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Monica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Pointer breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Monica paves the way for another one to be saved.
