Emmie is an eight week old pit/pointer puppy that we rescued after she was dumped next to a trash can in a very bad neighborhood. This poor pup was so hungry and frightened, but we are pleased to say that after getting some good food and a bath, she is feeling much better. We are also pleased to say that nine pound Emmie was checked by a vet and she is healthy. She has been dewormed and has received her first round of vaccines. We are looking for a home with experienced large breed dog owners. We want her in a home with another playful dog and prefer an active family or owner. We also want her in a home where someone is not gone for eight hours and there is supervision for her. This is a sweet and lucky puppy who deserves a chance to have a great home and life!
THE FORGOTTEN DOG FOUNDATION rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes shelter, stray, abused and abandoned dogs. Our goal is to place our rescues in foster homes rather than in boarding facilities. After temperament assessment, needed veterinary services, and lots of attention and socialization we carefully screen and place these dogs in loving forever homes.
