Sal is a two year old black male Domestic Short Hair that arrived at the shelter on September 30th 2016, and is currently available for adoption at the Saskatoon SPCA.
Hello there. You might overlook me because I can be a bit stand-offish at first, but I really warm up to people once I get to know them. I am a quiet cat who is able to entertain himself, and although I am an adventurer and like to explore, I am a calm guy with lower energy. I like to be around people, but am not a lap cat, and I''m not all that interested in games, either.
My ideal home would be a quiet to moderately active home without other cats, and with people who are looking for a `roommate` sort of cat. I enjoy being petted and love to give head butts to show you how happy I am to be around you, but I''m not looking to take over your life, you know? I just want a bit of love.
Sal is dewormed, up to date with vaccinations, and has no adoption fee for a limited time. The adoption includes:
-Microchipping, which is the procedure with which a small, scannable chip is inserted under the animal''s skin, providing an additional form of identification
-The spay/neuter surgery (if the cat entered the shelter unaltered)
-Four weeks of PetPlan pet insurance
-A complimentary veterinary health examination at the local participating clinic of their choice
-Age appropriate vaccinations, up to the point of adoption
-Any medications required prior to adoption
If you would like to meet this cat, you can do so by visiting the Saskatoon SPCA at 5028 Clarence Avenue South in Grasswood, SK or call 306 374 7387.
