Aurelia's Story...
Aurelia is a 3 month old sweet uniquely dark Calico with interesting markings and four white paws. She loves to play, and when she has a toy mouse in her mouth she lets out an adorable little growl. She loves to be snuggled and will purr with pleasure. She is the first of her sisters to walk up to you when you walk into the room, and tells you exactly when she wants your attention! She is quite the talker and will definitely want a human that is willing to bond with her.

Adoption fee is a minimum $75 per cat donation to Feral Fixers . All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and felv/fiv negative. Discounted adoption fee if two kittens or cats are adopted together, $130 for a pair. Brief screening questionaire and contract apply! Please email gotfriendlies@feralfixers.org or call (630) 881-7459 for more information

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aurelia, a Lombard Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lombard, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Lombard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lombard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lombard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lombard paves the way for another one to be saved.
