My name is Gypsy, and I'm about 3 years old. I tolerate dogs fairly well, but I really would prefer a home without other cats. I like to lay around and love to get pet and sun myself by the window.

The nice people who are caring for me asked me to let you know that all the adoptable cats are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on vaccinations, and given a broad spectrum dewormer. Adult cats are also tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia.  The adoption fee for each cat is $75.00 (But we frequently have specials too, so be sure to ask!)

About Friends of the Mustang Animal Shelter

About Our Rescue Group...

Friends of the Mustang Animal Shelter (FOMAS) is a non-profit organization formed in 2013 to support the programs of the shelter.

Our organization is run by volunteers who work to prevent euthanasia at our city's shelter by providing vet care and finding homes for each animal at the shelter that is not reclaimed by their owners. All of our volunteers are unpaid, and all donations go to the care of the animals.

For information about volunteer opportunities, visit our website or send us a PM.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Most of our available animals are in foster homes, not at the city shelter.
We hold adoption outreach events most Sundays from 3-6pm at the Petsmart in Yukon, OK. On the first Sunday of each month we are at Petco in Yukon, OK from 1-4pm. Other events can be found on our facebook page here
A meet and greet can also be scheduled after an application is submitted.
