I'm used to the farm life, I went with Dad whenever we had chores to do. Dad had another stroke and just can't care for me, so MI Lab gals invited me in. I'm hangin with a cool guy, my Foster Dad, his name is Dirk. Dirk runs this really neat doggie daycare where I'm making all sorts of friends. They say if you want me to come live with you that you have to put my name in the "Dog's Name" spot of the adoption application at -- that is B..A..I..L..E..Y.. I hope I get to meet you soon. His Foster Dad said he is obsessed with going for if you take your dog everywhere with you Bailey is your guy.

About MI Lab Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Our Rescue is operated by a small group of volunteers that work full time jobs outside of the Rescue. We will do our very best to respond to your inquiries in a timely manner. Our mission is: To provide foster and veterinary care for rescued Labrador Retrievers while finding them their "furever" homes.

Our Adoption Process...

All adoptions require an application (available at; a home visit, and a veterinary reference. Please see our website for our adoption process. Questions may be emailed to

Adoption fees: $250 which we use to provide veterinary care and spaying/neutering. Adoptions of pairs (siblings, rescued pairs) may have lesser adoption fee than individual adoptions.

We are strictly funded by donations and fundraising efforts and appreciate any additional donations to care for these wonderful furry family members.

All adoptions require that for any reason a pet must be surrendered that it is returned to MI Lab Rescue and never abandoned.
