Bailey's Story...
Bailey, 5 yrs old male, neutered, up to date on shots, hw-

I'm used to the farm life, I went with Dad whenever we had chores to do. Dad had another stroke and just can't care for me, so MI Lab gals invited me in. I'm hangin with a cool guy, my Foster Dad, his name is Dirk. Dirk runs this really neat doggie daycare where I'm making all sorts of friends. They say if you want me to come live with you that you have to put my name in the "Dog's Name" spot of the adoption application at milabrescue.com -- that is B..A..I..L..E..Y.. I hope I get to meet you soon. His Foster Dad said he is obsessed with going for rides...so if you take your dog everywhere with you Bailey is your guy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Ypsilanti Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Ypsilanti, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Ypsilanti.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ypsilanti already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ypsilanti breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ypsilanti paves the way for another one to be saved.
