for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

LoneStar's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

LoneStar's Story...
LoneStar is part of a litter of 4 pups. He's the biggest and most confident - full of puppy charm and friendly energy! He weighs about 20 pounds and is a bundle of fun. We think the pups will all be medium-sized when full grown (not likely more than 50 pounds, but that's just a guess...)

The pups have all had 3 rounds of de-worming and all 3 of their puppy vaccines. LoneStar has been neutered and microchipped - and is ready for one-on-one training with a loving family.

If you'd like to learn more about him or schedule a play date, please contact Jody at SCRWestLevy@gmail.com or call/text her at 352-316-5155.

PS. The man who had these puppies and their mommy (who was hit by a car and killed) docked all their tails when they were about a week old. Our rescue did not do that to them!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LoneStar, a Orange Lake Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Orange Lake, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Orange Lake.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orange Lake already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orange Lake breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orange Lake paves the way for another one to be saved.
