Facts about Leo - in a foster home

  • Breed: American Bulldog Mix
  • Color: White - With Brown Or Chocolate
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 10732222

Leo is a sweet fellow who loves being around people. His favorite thing is getting a tummy rub, he is always ready to flop over for some rubbing.  He is learning basic manners, he still likes to jump on people when he gets excited and will need someone who will continue to work on training with him. He is very food motivated and loves training sessions, so working with him is very easy. He is not great with other dogs and would do best as the only dog in the household.  If you would like more information on Leo please contact Ann-Marie at

Our Adoption Process...

Find the pet for you at the Adoption Center:
Angels of Assisi’s adoption center is open from 12-6pm, 7 days a week. Adoption Specialists and Volunteer Ambassadors are eager to help you find the pet that would fit best in your family.

Adoptable Pets in Foster Homes:
Some of our available pets are currently in foster homes. If an animal is currently in a foster home, it is noted in the animal's biography online. To meet a pet in foster care, please fill out a non-binding adoption application, and the foster parent will contact you to schedule a meet and greet once the application has been approved (generally within 24 hours).

Found the perfect addition to your family? Now what?
The next step is to fill out an adoption application. You can complete and application online (preferred) or stop by the adoption center to fill out a paper application. Adopters must be 18 years of age or older. If you rent your home, we will need to contact your landlord or see a copy of your lease to verify the pet policy. Most applications can be approved within 24-48 hours.

Taking Your New Pet Home
After paying the adoption fee and pending the approval of your application, you may take your new pet home immediately. Adoption fees may vary and can be found on our website at:
