Ruben-ADOPTED!'s Story...
Estimated date of birth: 8/15
Ruben has an interesting story that proves he is a true survivor in the harshest of environments. Back in April this year, some very kind citizens in Stockton noticed 3 little dogs running around the area where the City Food Bank is located. Not a very safe area for dogs to be wandering off leash. These dogs were very skiddish. They were able to catch Shirley, then a few weeks later her brother Tyler, but little Ruben went MIA, but would show up now and again, all by himself, alone and scared. The citizens never gave up on him and continued to try to get him to safety. Well, they finally succeeded. He is a shy boy, but when he is in a safe stable environment, he comes out of his shell and loves to be a lap doggy. He also likes to snuggle in bed with you, but is crate trained as well. Little man Ruben deserves a wonderful home where he will be cherished and kept warm and safe. He is neutered, microchipped and current on his vaccines. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruben-ADOPTED!, a Tracy Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Tracy, or seeking a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Tracy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tracy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tracy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tracy paves the way for another one to be saved.
