Suru's Story...

Suru is one of Stella's five baby girls estimated to be five weeks old at their vet appointment of 10/19.  (Selma, Sassy, Siddy, Suzu, and Sinead)  On intake, Selma weighed 3.4 pounds; Sassy weighed 2.4 pounds; Siddy weighed 2.5 pounds; Suzu was 3.4 pounds; and Sinead was 2.11 pounds.  The babies will be growing, for they are eating well both with nursing from mom and the additional gruel they are woofing down.  The puppies were supposed to be six weeks old when we took them on Oct. 15, but we wonder if they may be a little younger.  The vet will determine for us.  These babies are very cute, and ARF is glad to get them out of the bad circumstances in which we found them.  Now they can rest without scratching fleas and their food will give them nourishment after their deworming.  Most of the pups are brown, some with black and some with white.  They are fun and playful and curious.  Love to watch them interact and bounce around with their toys.  They deserve to be happy and loved as they grow up in their own families.  Which one will be your favorite?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Suru, a Ripley Boston Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in Ripley, or seeking a Boston Terrier puppy from a breeder in Ripley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ripley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ripley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ripley paves the way for another one to be saved.
