Napoleon Bonaparte is new to Happy Days. He had spent so many long, long days locked in his kennel at the shelter, and had been so sad that when he first went outside it would take him a few minutes to start to be happy and playful. You could see the sadness in his eyes! But he is a naturally playful, fun loving boy who loves to play fetch, chase a frisbee, and to take long walks and explore his world. For too long his world had been reduced to a small space with concrete walls and a chain link gate! He was an owner surrender because his owner was moving. Napoleon is now safe and in foster care. He has been out with other dogs, both large and small, and he has done well with them. He is fine with kids too. He likes everyone! He also knows sit and shake and possibly more vocabulary! He would love to find his forever home!
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
