My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Gemma. I am a Military Macaw and I am about 14 years old, I came to Beak n Wings in the fall of 2016. I had lived with my loving mom since I was just a chick, but she was getting older and after breaking her hip didn't think she could take care of me anymore. This was hard for both of us, but I have been taken in by a great new foster family. I immediately took to my foster mom especially, and I have been stepping up for her and even sitting on her shoulder when she allows me. She calls me a "complete sweetheart". I have no bad habits. I am enjoying healthy ZuPreem pellets, as well as fruits, veggies, and other healthy treats. I have been to the vet and will be ready for adoption after November 12th.
