Snowy is a 3 year old Brittany/Setter mix who was an owner surrender to metro animal control because the landlord would not let them keep her. She is white and liver with freckles on her face and some liver ticking in her white. Snowy can be a little shy and skittish around new people. One of her quirks is that she gets nervous and reactive when people put their hands over her head. She may nip when this happens. She will go in a crate but would prefer not to. She's trustworthy in the house alone and really doesn't need to be crated at all. Snowy walks well on leash and is housebroken. Snowy will not come when called and it becomes a game for her. She is good with other dogs and prefers watching cats instead of chasing them. She likes standing on her hind legs for a treat.
Snowy will only be adopted locally and will not be adopted to homes with small children.
Snowy can be a picky eater at times but is getting better. She hasn't attempted to climb over or dig out under the fence. She needs more work on recall. Snowy is totally vetted, microchipped, tattooed at spay site and HW negative. She is being fostered in Tennessee. Her adoption fee is $325.00.
