She was the best mother to those gorgeous pups and tolerated our intrusive cage visits to clean/feed/provide water and give her bathroom breaks with no complaints. After her pups were weaned and we were able to interact with her alone we found she is a very skittish and scared dog. She's not aggressive, just scared. Allie needs to get out of the shelter and into a home where she can relax.
If you have room in your home and an hour or so a day to work with her on socialization that will make Allie adoptable please complete our application to foster (which is the same as our adoption form, just indicate you are fostering only). Allie has already improved and walks pretty well on a leash (unless she hears a noise or sees something that spooks her then she lies flat or tries to run) but has a ways to go. Can you help?
