Will you be my family? My name is Amelia and I'm three to four years old (exact age unknown). I'm only 40lbs and considered a "pocket pittie" mix. I am crate-trained, but I would rather be out and about with everyone else! I know basic commands (sit, stay, lay down) and recently learned how to do circles! I love meeting new people, playing fetch and car rides. I may have too much energy and might be too strong for young children. So, I'd be best with older kids and adults. I'm ok around cats and small caged animals. I'm still learning my manners around other dogs; I sometimes get nippy when scared or overly excited. I need a firm, but patient owner. I may be ok with another dog if my new family is willing to do a slow introduction and work with a trainer if need be. I love being the center of attention. Wanna go for a walk? Want a kiss? Belly rub time?

Amelia is spayed, up to date on her vaccination, potty trained and has a microchip.

Adoption fee is $250.

If you're interested in adopting her, please go to www.furangelsas.com and fill out our online adoption application.
Amelia, American Staffordshire Terrier Mix has been shared from Shelter Exchange.

About Fur Angels Animal Sanctuary

About Our Rescue Group...

I got involved with rescue work out of love for animals. I had decided to set up my own rescue. I serve mostly deaf animals because they are first to be put down and are usually deemed untrainable, unadoptable and unlovable. I didn't feel this was right or fair.

Our Adoption Process...

We are a small rescue who cares for all our pets in
foster homes. We do NOT have a facility & all animals
are seen by appointment only, after an application has
been approved.
Dogs' adoption fee includes vetting, spaying/neutering, and any health care they may need. For some dogs, the fee may be reduced for reasons that can be made available. Cats' adoption fee include vetting, spaying/neutering, and any health care. All are heartworm negative. We require all possible adopters to fill out an adoption application, and to submit themselves to home visits by staff or volunteers, or by local rescues. Vet reference will be required and will be used. Upon adopting, an adoption contract will be signed. Call me or email to start this process.
