Poe's Story...
Things on Poe's daily list of stuff to do: be held, get pet, play with toys. He keeps things simple and you'll love him for it. He's quiet and sweet and loves to cuddle up...and also to knead a little bit, as some cats do. You'll find him perched on a windowsill or his favorite scratch lounger, until you arrive home, and that's when he'll start crossing things off his to-do list! Come meet him ...and arrive ready for snuggles. Will you be his new forever home? Poe was born in late 2015.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Poe, a Chicago Bombay cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bombay for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Bombay cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bombay breeders who help with Bombay rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
