Pat is a 9-month-old, black, male, domestic shorthair that arrived at the shelter on April 5th 2016, and is currently available for adoption at the Saskatoon SPCA.
Pat is a stunning young cat who looks like nothing so much as a miniature panther. He''s a sleek black cat with a long, graceful tail and amber eyes. Big, quiet, and independent, Pat is a good choice if you are looking for a house panther to be your Snoopervisor In Chief (SIC).
Pat is a moderately energetic boy who is moderately social - on his own terms - and who has low moderate confidence. He likes to do his own thing a lot of the time, and would cope well with being home alone for long stretches, as long as he gets some family time with his people at the end of the day. He enjoys food and playtime, and is willing to tolerate the indignity of being picked up and held for short periods. Pat is one of the SPCA''s longest residents, and is looking for a home with people who value his independent and inquisitive nature. Come and see if he''s the cat you''ve been looking for!
Pat is dewormed, up to date with vaccinations, and has no adoption fee for a limited time. The adoption includes:
-Microchipping, which is the procedure with which a small, scannable chip is inserted under the animal''s skin, providing an additional form of identification
-The spay/neuter surgery (if the cat entered the shelter unaltered)
-Four weeks of PetPlan pet insurance
-A complimentary veterinary health examination at the local participating clinic of their choice
-Age appropriate vaccinations, up to the point of adoption
-Any medications required prior to adoption
If you would like to meet this cat, you can do so by visiting the Saskatoon SPCA at 5028 Clarence Avenue South in Grasswood, SK or call 306 374 7387.
