Sweet petite (30-35 lbs.) senior Maddie is adorable and it is very APPARENT that Maddie had a home before and she wasn't mistreated, she is housetrained, well-mannered and EXTREMELY loyal.
She gets along with other animals and children (when I had her at the park she kept going up to the kids on the swing). We rescued her from the pound with a huge tumor, but she just had surgery to remove it, and the vet is very happy with the surgery. She wins over the hearts of everyone she meets, and although technically a senior at approximately 8 years old, she has a lot of life and love in her. She is quite possibly the perfect little girl for someone that wants an older dog that already knows the ropes and doesn't have the energy needs of a younger dog.
