Facts about Ninja

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black (Mostly)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 10733170
  • Hair: Short
Ninja is a BIG and gregarious 6 Y.O. boy. We rescued Ninja when he was a kitten, and helped him find the loving home he lived in for 4 years. But his caretaker became ill, and could no longer care for him. Ninja needs a couch to crash out on, and a new 'forever person' to snuggle with! Ninja is a super friendly and gregarious boy! He loves head scratches and snuggling next to his caretaker. He's OK with other low-key cats, but we think he would be very happy as a single boy.

Ninja is an avowed couch potato. His 'pleasantly plump' figure and ironic name would make for perfect kung-fu watching. Ninja is neutered, fully vaccinated, FIV/FeLV negative, and microchipped - he's ready for a new forever home! Please contact BrooklynBridgeAnimals@yahoo.com to meet Ninja. He's currently boarding at Urban Vets in the East Village, and really needs a loving home!

About Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Our rescue group was formed in December 2007, but all our Board Members have had extensive experience rescuing and working with abandoned animals. We often work with other rescue organizations to find appropriate and safe foster and adoptive homes for our pet clients. We regularly go to areas with abandoned animals and collect them. The animals are taken to a licensed veterinarian examined, treated and spayed or neutered. Every effort is made to work with the animal and our foster and adoptive families to find a suitable forever home.

For those animals who are truly wild and feral, we release the animal in a safe and secure location after it has recovered from its medical treatment. We also work with certified wildlife rehabilitators to rescue injured and orphaned wildlife. Our organization is focused on improving the welfare of the abandoned animals in need of help in Brooklyn. In furthering that goal, our resources are focused on the animals.

Aside from a few minimal overhead costs such as our website and phone services, our entire budget is spent on animal care such as medical and food costs.
