Hi Folks, my name is Delta, and I'm one of the Schnauzer/Terrier mixes that were rescued from the hoarder situation a couple of weeks ago. I'm about 2 years old and weigh around 20 pounds. I'm good with other dogs but still skittish around humans. Although I lived in a house, I didn't have much interaction with my previous owner because there were TWENTY-THREE of us living there!

I'm not in my very own foster home and slowly learning what it's like to be a real dog. I'm food motivated which helps when my foster mom wants me to do something I'm not too sure about, like taking baths! Because I was never exposed too much, I still startle at simple sounds like the television playing, a blow dryer, or other normal household sounds. Whenever I get scared, I run to my safe place (my kennel), and chill there until I feel as though it's safe to come back out.

Overall, I'm making daily improvements and will make a wonderful companion for someone that has the time, love, and patience to show me how!
