Emma & Maddie's Story...
Hi, we are three gorgeous 3 1/2 month old kittens looking for our forever homes. We were found together under a shed and brought into foster care. I (Maddie) am the boldest of the three, first to approach you for attention. I am always front and center wherever the action is. I love to be held and petted and give kitty kisses. Emma is a bit more reserved at first, but will soon come up to you sitting on your lap and purring for attention. Elmore is the shyest of the three. He is an active boy who loves to play, play, play! Playtime is the way to get him feeling confident. At first he may run if you approach him, but with some love and patience, he is starting to enjoy being petted and getting attention. We are very healthy now and ready to be adopted! Please apply online and ask all about us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emma & Maddie, a Richmond Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
