Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jax is a big, sweet goofball! We think the phrase "Heart of gold, head of stone" was coined for Jax ;-) He is about 84 pounds, but thinks he is just a big puppy. Jax is about 1 year old.
Jax is a big boy, but he is still young and needs an experienced owner who understands a young Lab's training and exercise needs. He has a lot of energy & will really thrive with an active family. He might be part fish... we can't keep him out of the swimming pool!
Jax will definitely need a home with a good sized back yard to run and play. Young Labs need a lot of exercise... and more exercise! Remember that a TIRED Lab is a GOOD Lab. Jax is smart and is picking up training quickly. He really tries his best to be good, but there are so many other interesting things to do! Jax loves to romp and play chase with other dogs in his foster home. He would really like to have a medium or large breed dog to play with in his new home... no Chihuahuas, please!
Jax is a healthy Lab who is vaccinated, neutered and on heartworm prevention. He has taken well to his crate and is housebroken. Because of his size, he will do best with older kids, at least 12 years and up.
If you are interested in meeting Jax, please see our web site about adoption and fill out the adoption application. www.LoneStarLabRescue.org
