Adaline's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Adaline's Story...
I am Adaline, and I am large and in charge! I come into a room with my tail so high it's over my head. Makes my foster mom laugh every single time! I love some snuggle time, but I also enjoy hanging out alone sometimes. I am maybe not the best cuddler, but I make up for that in sheer personality! I am sassy and awesome and love to be the center of attention. I am very bossy with other cats, so maybe I should be the only cat in the house. That way I can be the Queen Of The House! Get to know me, and I know you will fall in love with me! I hear forever homes are wonderful, so if you are looking for a cat to be in charge of your house, I am your girl!

Are you interested in adopting Adaline or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.

Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).

We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application for Adaline.

Thanks for thinking adoption!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Adaline, a Smithfield Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Smithfield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Smithfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smithfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smithfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smithfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
