Leon is gorgeous. And goofy! At just 8 months old he is still so curious about the world around him. He already knows his basic commands (cause he's super smart!) and is now learning how to play with toys and other dogs. It seems he hasn't spent much time around dogs, but he's quickly learning play moves and becoming more confident each day. He's done well with both large and small dogs. He's super friendly with people too but can be a bit shy at first. But after a couple of minutes he's smooching faces! He's very gentle, becoming more affectionate each day, takes treats beautifully, and is quite the young gentleman. He was sprung from an inner city shelter after finding himself on the kill list. We just couldn't say no to that face! So now Leon is enjoying his life at last. He's obsessed with tennis balls (who wouldn't be?) and is excited to meet his new family! Whoever gets to adopt this sweet boy will be super lucky!

We will then screen your application through a vet reference check, phone interview (this is when you can ask all of your questions over the phone), reference checks (2) and a home visit. Our adoption donation is $300 and includes spay/neuter, microchipping, vaccines and preventatives up to date per the dog's age, health check, fecal / deworming as needed and heartworm testing and treatment as needed. More details will be provided if you are being considered for adoption.
