Sally's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Sally's Story...
Meet SALLY! She is a sweet mature gal (around 8 yrs old and about 4.75 lbs) who came to us in pretty rough condition. She is healing on the outside from the neglect she suffered (fleas, skin and ear infections, severely overgrown nails, muscle atrophy, hernia) and is ready to find her forever home! She can a minute to warm up to new people, but she is a happy, friendly girl. She would love to go to a home with another dog friend who is similar in size. She can be kind of dominant in her play style, but just is so happy to play with other dogs. Due to her age and size we think she would do best in a home without small children. She does well with using the pee pads and will also potty outside. Sally's adoption donation is $250.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website at www.perfectpooches.org under the Adoption Process tab. Please email us at info@perfectpooches.org with any additional questions.

*All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested (age appropriate), fecal tested and/or dewormed, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sally, a Romeoville Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Romeoville, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Romeoville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Romeoville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Romeoville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Romeoville paves the way for another one to be saved.
