Cash is the ultimate clown and so much fun. He has such an expressive face, pictures don't do him justice. He does everything with joy in his heart. He’s an adventurer and knows when I'm about to go out and have some fun because he'll wait at the door. He wants to be a full time companion and wants to do everything with me. He even climbs in the shower in the mornings. That said, don't worry, he'll immediately go right to his large crate when told and doesn't experience separation issues. I believe he's a Black Lab/Rottweiler mix; he certainly has some of the best qualities of both!
Sadly we received a call from a vet saying his owners requested he be put down because they didn't want him. I can't believe someone wanted to give him up. He's such a fast learner, but he came knowledge n how to come, fetch, sit, and shake. While we were doing the photo shoot, we discovered he also knows how to roll over (see the photo that left us laughing hysterically). We had no idea! He's also house trained, no issues yet, and is good with my dog, cat, rabbit, parrots and even my chickens.
He's currently 79 pounds. All his excitement and energy means he's not great on a least, yet. Because of his size and energy level, I would not say he's good with very young children, but he will love anyone and everyone in your family. Even with all his energy, he doesn't bark unless there's a reason, he's actually very quiet.
If you are active and want a companion that loves nature, walking around the city, going for a run or sitting in a pub watching people go by, this is your dog. Want to relax after a long day? Cash will be right by your side while you watch TV. He really is a great dog and I am glad that I volunteered to save this wonderful companion.
