CLAYTON's Story...
CLAYTON - Is a 1 year old great dane/lab mix. He was surrendered to the shelter as a puppy that clearly outgrew his owner. He currently weighs 100 lbs and will certainly fill out. He's a great dog, but right now a big, unruly dog so he fast tracked it into our PAWS BEHIND BARS prison dog training program. We have every reason to believe he'll turn into a fantastic family companion dog for someone that likes the large breeds. He is fully vetted and will be ready to go home in early December but we're accepting applications now. If interested, please email or call 502-777-1442

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CLAYTON, a LaGrange Great Dane/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/Labrador Retriever for sale in LaGrange, or seeking a Great Dane/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in LaGrange.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in LaGrange already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a LaGrange breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Great Dane/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in LaGrange paves the way for another one to be saved.
