RESCUING CHINA

China was brought into Fulton County Animal Control as a cruelty case on October 20, 2016. Her jaw was previously broken and her eye is missing, most likely from a rupture caused by trauma.  She had some flea dermatitis and was very pregnant. The pound was no place for a sweet mama like China.  An FTTF foster offered to foster here and she got her freedom ride out of the pound on October 24, 2016.

ABOUT CHINA

China was settling into foster care and 6 days later, on October 30th, she gave birth to 9 puppies. Despite her rough past, she is an incredibly sweet and loving lady. China was an excellent mother to her babies.  China remains in her foster home still looking for her forever family.  China has captured the hearts of many volunteers and is great with the other dogs in her foster home.  She is currently in a foster home with 2 other dogs, a 3 year old girl that she plays with, and her foster moms Autistic son who adores her and takes her for walks. She is great on a leash, loves going on long walks, and is happy to lay on her dog bed or on the couch with you. She is housebroken and crate-trained. She can also be left out of the crate during the day and night without any accidents. She is a complete love bug who adores snuggling. She loves toys, but the squeaky ones are her absolute favorite. She welcomes everyone that comes to visit and knows some basic commands. China is great in the car and for baths. She is a easy going girl that would be a great dog for any kind of family, including a first time pit bull owner. Her pups have all been adopted and China is patiently waiting for a forever family of her own. She is an FTTF volunteer favorite and everyone that meets her quickly falls in love. China has even passed her cat test with flying colors!
