Thunder is a 4 year old purebred GSD who needs to find a new family due to changes in his current home situation. Thunder is a huge love who is devoted to his family. He plays best with dogs his size or larger.

Thunder has lived with kids for the past year and a half of his life, and adores the children in his home, but due to his size and the unpredictability of kids, we are saying no children under the age of 13.

Thunder is a big boy and his days are best spent going for long walks, and then snuggling by your feet while you work. He is trustworthy with free roam of the house when you run errands or are out and about, and enjoys car rides and (think of something else he enjoys).

GSD experience required.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All our dogs are in foster homes.
You have to go through the adoption process and be approved before meeting a dog.

Its an application, two phone interviews and a home visit.

Our Adoption Process...

First you must fill out an application which we will review. Then we will do a phone interview, reference check and finally a home visit before a dog is placed in your home. We ONLY adopt to homes where the dog is an indoor dog, part of the family and treated as such. We stress excellent nutrition, proper training and follow up with all our adopters.

We are probably have one of the more thorough and difficult adoption processes... and we love that people want to adopt and don't want to discourage adopters! So please, if you're in a hurry, or not an exceptional furever home - please try other rescues or a SHELTER is a great option too!
