Keith Richards's Story...
Hi, my name is Keith Richards and I am a GOOD-LOOKING 6 month old BROWN TABBY male with GORGEOUS green eyes. Recently I was rescued along with my brother, Mick Jagger from a terrible hoarding situation where we were kept in a crate for most of our lives! Here are a few facts about me: I appear a bit shy upon first meetings, but I soon WARM up once I get familiar in a new situation. I am a GOOD NATURED and HAPPY cat. I am bonded with my brother, Mick and I do not want to be separated from him. Do you have it in your heart to take in two BROTHERS that you will LOVE and ADORE and cherish fur-ever? Arrange to meet us! We are neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.

To meet me, fill out the CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Keith Richards, a Long Beach Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
