Star was found as a stray and ended up in a high kill shelter. Her rescue mom is so glad she is part of the rescue now as she is loads of fun and so eager to share her endless puppy love. Her trainer says she has that wiggly Beagle energy and the quick intelligence of a Cattle dog. She's learning her basic obedience commands quickly and enjoys walking on leash with the other dogs at the rescue. She especially likes hanging out with her pal Snoopy (also listed on this site). She's a stand out at the adoption events -- happy and friendly. Completely up to date with her vetting. She will make someone a perfect exercise partner as well as a loyal, affectionate companion. She's on the small size but we do feel she would do best with older, dog savvy children as she may be too energetic for the little ones.

About Leader of the Rescue Pack

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of women determined to help as many dogs as we can. We find them on the road, lonely and scared and lost, or we help save them from euthanasia at the shelters. Sometimes we also receive owner surrenders, who for what ever reason, can no longer care for their pet. They might of had to move away, or can't afford the pet or lost their homes, etc, but through no fault of the dog. The pet deserves to have a second chance in life, and we help to make that happen!!

Our Adoption Process...

If you are serious about adopting one of our pets listed, please call or email us for more information. We'll get back to you as soon as possible. We will set up a phone interview with you to see if it will be a good match for the dog/puppy and you. Then we will ask for a vet reference, and also if you rent your home or apt, we will need proof from your landlord that you are indeed allowed a dog/puppy. Then we have a contract for you to sign and get back to us, then depending on the location of the dog/puppy, we will then arrange transport.
