My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What is another name for handsome? Bentley, of course.

What is another name for cute and lovable? Again, Bentley.

This big teddy bear came to us because of a family going their separate ways and neither person was able to take Bentley with them.
So we are honored to have him as a guest in our rescue.

Bentley spent some time getting evaluated by the foster mom and he passed with flying colors. He had one more test to pass and that was to get along with his 2 black labs as his roomies in foster care. That was a walk in the park for Bentley. All 3 dogs got along just fine and Bentley even realized something about himself-he is too busy being playful to be alpha material. Nonetheless, happy as ever Bentley got into some serious playing in the yard with the male lab and off they went to enjoy the day.
Bentley LOVES to play but he does have an off switch too. He will need to have someone who can help burn some of this puppy energy off. He is excellent in a car and a quiet guy.

Bentley will need to be in a completely fenced in yard because he is young and is just learning the command to come. He will be learning to walk properly on a leash, stopping at the corner, sitting for his meals and other basic commands.


Bentley is a Chocolate lab, 15 months old, 63 pounds,UTD on vaccinations, housebroken, neutered and micro chipped.
