Rosie Posie is a 9-year-old, 14-pound Spaniel/Pomeranian mix. Like feeling appreciated? Rosie's your gal. She'll make you feel like the most important person in the world because, to Rosie, you are. Her whole body wags with excitement when you wake up in the morning and when you come home at the end of the day. She's just happy to be taken care of, which you can see from the constant smile on her little face. This cutie has two speeds: playful and energetic or relaxed and mellow. Meal times and you walking through the door bring out her excited side, but the rest of the time she's happy to curl up on the couch next to you and snooze. Rosie looks like a little fox, and she acts like one too. If you leave delicious people food sitting out where she can grab it, consider it devoured.Rosie is house-trained and walks well on the leash. She loves to stop and sniff on her walks, exploring every bit of her surroundings. She does great with other dogs and is sometimes playful with her doggie housemate. She also lets him know when she's had enough of his silliness, but she does so in a gentle way. She enjoys car rides and putting her head out the passenger window or sitting on your lap to check out the view. Rosie is recovering from a skin issue that left parts of her tail a bit hairless. She takes an oral antifungal and a topical solution, and both are doing the job of healing. She'll be back to her full, glorious self soon. Rosie Posie came to us from the SPCA for Monterey County.
