Taffy's Story...
Taffy would like to travel to Wisconsin on December 4th.

Hi my name is Taffy. My sister Tootsie Roll and I came to the rescue recently. We lived in a place that the person could not take care of us. We had another sister but she got adopted. I depend a lot on my sister Tootsie Roll. I like to do the things that puppy's like to do. I like toys when my sister does not steal them from me. They say my dad was a pug mix and my mom was a Chi-Weenie or Terrier mix. I have a wiry coat . I am happy and love to romp and play. I am looking for a family that I can love. I am crate trained.and I promised I learn quickly.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Taffy, a Fort Atkinson Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Fort Atkinson, or seeking a Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Fort Atkinson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Atkinson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Atkinson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Atkinson paves the way for another one to be saved.
