Mauja's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Mauja's Story...
“How handsome am I! I’m Mauja (pronounced MAW zuh- It means deep soft snow) I am a super sweet cuddle bug. I would love to have all the attention but I suppose I could share with a tested friend, I might try to be the boss. I have to tell you though I am very sensitive soul and feel I am always in trouble. This makes me have frequent accidents and the need to claim my space. My sensitive soul mate will teach me that the world is not a scary place. I haven’t seen a lot of the world and need practice with a leash, being tethered is very scary, but I will fly into your lap for comfort. I am pretty smart and listen very well, hoping to make you happy! But please have patience while I learn that you will keep me safe. Cats are a no go, they are fun to chase and bully. People are great and I will suck up the attention. Older, respectful children might be ok but I need stability and security. Maybe you can give me a safe place for me to learn and grow? I really want to spread my wings and learn to fly!!! My adoption fee is $150. Visit mustlovedogsnw.org to download the adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mauja, a Vancouver Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
