Bit is a 1 year old female Torbi who came to us as an owner surrender because they simply could not keep her anymore. This girl is very social and well rounded and has never met a stranger! Good with other cats, children and even canine companions; Bit would make an excellent addition to any family. This girl is litter box trained and accustomed to being an inside girl. Unfortunately, Bit would not have any idea about what to do if she were made an outside cat so we need to find a home where she can remain inside girl.

Bit's adoption fee is $75.00 which covers her wellness check, age appropriate vaccinations, rabies shot and spay surgery.
BIT, Torbie Mix has been shared from Shelter Exchange.

About Stephens County Humane Society

About Our Shelter...

We are a Humane Society and Rescue organization serving Stephens County, Oklahoma and it's communities. We work closely with local municipal animal control departments in providing shelter to abandoned, abused, and surrendered animals, and finding homes for as many adoptable pets as we possibly can. We stress spaying and neutering as the one key way to prevent unwanted puppies and kittens.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our Shelter is located at 714 Martin Luther King Ave., Duncan, Oklahoma 73533. Our current hours are:

Monday & Thursday : closed except for intakes
Tuesday & Friday : 12-6
Wednesday & Saturday: 12-4
Sunday: 12-2

We are closed all major Holidays

Our Adoption Process...

We use a simple adoption application/agreement. To complete the application process, we ask for reference letters from the adopting family's veterinarian and two character references. Adoption fees are $100.00 for dogs and $75.00 for cats. Fees include spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccination and age appropriate vaccinations.

We have 3 main requirements for our dog adoptions.
1- We require a fenced yard
2- If you rent, we require a letter from the landlord stating
pets are permitted in their residence.
3- If you have dogs currently, arrangements must be
made for a meet and greet to ensure all parties are
agreeable.
