Blondie is a beautiful blonde pup with an adorable cocker face. She is a very special girl. At six years old she is the past mother of several. She was finally able to go outdoors and experience the beauty of nature for the first time in her life. She is quiet and timid giving barely a growl when I first approached her. It didn't take but a second to understand how traumatized she was. Blondie would be best in a home with teens or older. After HW treatment and 4. Months later she has bonded with me, but can be skittish around new people and quickly retreats to her hide hole immediately. She responds well to a soft voice and soft touch. She is adjusting well to a schedule and the dog doo. She completely opened up exploring the back yard and experiencing her natural curiosity of squirrels and my yard residents, the box turtles. She brought one inside every time she found one! She is also a breeze to give meds to, bathe and brush her coat (she loved soft brushing). Everyday I will miss her at my feet during morning coffee. She is a very special girl who will always have a piece of my heart.
